Diamonds are made of pure carbon, compressed deep underground over billions of years - the same element as pencil lead, but with a completely different structure. That's what makes them the hardest natural material on Earth (10 on the Mohs scale), so they resist scratches like nothing else.
They are not just clear - they come in fancy colors like yellow, pink, blue, and even red (the rarest). But it's their brilliance and sparkle - how they bend and bounce light - that makes them stand out in jewelry.
Most are cut to maximize that fire, with the round brilliant being the classic. But they work in any style - from vintage to modern - and last for generations.
